I don't see an image of a second coin. The coin you are showing has glue on it. Soak it in acetone and watch it melt.
There were a lot of different dies used to create these holders. Because of this there are a lot of different looks to the damage done to the rims...

The cent was removed from a Lucky Cent holder. It's damage from being pressed into the holder.
