I doubt its authenticity as well. Obviously there is a lot of wear on the high spots. My doubt is directed at the low spots on the high details....
Very safe to say. Looks like a parking lot played a big role in the venue and automobiles contributed to the damage.

I'm seeing it as AU55-58. Value? I'll leave that to the others who've responded.
My first inclination was a VF30 so that's what I'm sticking with. Nice original, honest wear.
