I'll go with just damage. A scratch will leave raised edges along the edges.
I think that PCGS would call it 64 FBL. The reverse looks great but I'm not sure what I think of the obverse toning.

I would send the ones you think are CAM or DCAM to PCGS. All you need is for one to come back as DCAM to cover all your cost. Great find.

Some folks collect the FirstStrike slabs to have a matching look to the set. I would not pay extra for the slab but some will.
I looked over the Cuds-on-coins site. It took me an hour to quit reading. Great resource.

Old nickels just seem to tone. Many years in an album bring yellow and a bit of green. The silver war nickels turn dark a bit faster.
