I think you need to spend it and fast.
Way cool. I never thought of collecting anything like that.
It's only 8 bucks. Keep them all.
It's what happens when you use real metal against zinc one too many times. :)
I thought we had enough of this.
That is cool! At least the L is on opposite sides so you can now make the claim that you have a complete set of L counter stamped $2.50's. :)
PCGS and NGC will bring more money than ANACS will if/when you sell. I would use them but not for anything real expensive.
This photo shows the coin much nicer than the others. I think you have a very nice die crack. I know there not worth much and I'm not a true error...
Wow. 2 of the same. How did you come across them?
There's something on the inside of the 3 but the photos just don't show it enough and your is similar to this which is an over date. [IMG]
It looks like it to me but it's difficult to tell with photos.
Yeah, just got in and still asleep at the wheel. It shows huh? Ok, I agree with Paddy.
PMD. Paddy is correct.
Personally I'd save the money. In a month you've got $100.00, in 2 $200.00, and in the 3rd month you have enough to buy a common date Gold coin....
Nice find.
Hold you Back, you ask. No way. I'm encouraging you to have fun with this hobby and build that collection of yours. :)
Welcome to CT. Sorry, but your coin has a stain. It's normal since pennies are made from zinc and coated with a thin layer of copper.
Nice coin but the L stands out on both sides.
Not real. Fake. It's plated.
For raw coins they're not bad. Your OCD is working. Get it up. :)
