From your photos, I'd go with 1798. There appears to be a slight difference in the top of the last 2 numbers.

I would think this coin would grade F-40. I like the coin but not the toning.
It's Variety 1, the O mark is slightly titled to the right where as next week we'll see Variety 2, which tilts to the left.
