Worthless doubling
Looks like the coin has been damaged to me. A large smooth edge is AC sign that’s it been hit repeatedly with a spoon to make it a ring.
I get what you’re saying but an AG-3 is not really a low ball coin. At least in my opinion.
Not sure if your bank will take them but they should as it’s US.
