Very nice Shrews. You have had a great weekend. Randy sure sent you some nice looking coins. :)
Looks German.
First, welcome to CT. Potentially I see your coin with a value of one cent as I see no signs of a doubled die (correct term).
Thanks Paddy, at least my memory's not totally gone.
Fantastic Shrews!! I don't care for apple fritters so bake that man some chocolate chip cookies! :) I know your weekend will be a happy one.
Not a DD anything.
It's a Mint error. If memory serves me correctly, @paddyman98 wrote a thread on this early last year.
I spent my years ago. Only a few left, just because.
Hard to tell from the photo but it looks like 1 small raised dot. It's an odd place but if so it could be a die chip.
Nothing wrong with that. :)
It's called a novelty cent. Hundreds have been made using various themes. They are all forms of counter stamps.
Thank you.
Don't know how I missed that one. It's great. I need to find one for myself now.
That's a great looking cud but not worth grading. A definite keeper.
Can't hurt either.
When and where are these available?
Not a cud Shrews but it could be a defective planchet or the start of a lamination issue.
It's always nice to see a great looking coin and this one is a beauty.
It's a variety. Not a doubled die.
Naturally
