Would you not agree that the Simpson example of the 1895 Proof Morgan for sale on Heritage is more attractive than the PF66 example you posted?...
Why do you take everything so personally? That 1895 Morgan proof is hairlined, it is not fully struck, and the toning is not anything spectacular...
I do not like that coin at all. It has a lot of hairlines on the face, and the toning is completely underwhelming.
Often, proofs may have some thin film optical beauty, but the mirrors of the proof hide the colors. On non-proof coins, the frosty luster...
