Grease on the Die as stated. Welcome to CT.
Greaser and replated. Not original condition. It's known as a reprocessed coin. Welcome to CT.
I keep mine locked away. I bring them out once in awhile for my sole enjoyment. I do not display them.
AU-53 tops but it shows signs of a light cleaning so it might get a AU Details Cleaned grade.
About 2-3 dollars.
Damaged and worth one cent. Welcome to CT.
Looks like a small die chip but the coin also shows circulation damage. Worth face value.
Highly damaged. No way this could have happened in the minting process. Welcome to CT.
Looks good to me.
Bag marks are not a sign of cleaning.
Just a nice old worn coin worth a nickel. Save it if you like. They don't make them anymore. :)
Dansco Albums Welcome to CT.

A tired old die caused that. Neat but not an error.
Nice find!
Not an error. Highly damaged. Ask yourself how could this have happened in the minting of the coin. Welcome to CT.

Glad to hear your error knowledge will be increasing as it should spark an even larger interest in your collection.
Where's the poll? I wanted to vote Yes.
Doesn't look like it to me.
