I'm beginning to think it's the path of a recent hurricane. In some photos it looks cut into the coins surface and in other photos it looks raised.
It's worth a quarter.

That is a very nice coin. I got the 63 brown but missed the red. Darn. That's a great coin to add to your set!
In my opinion and I'm no expert, it shouldn't grade less than a 65.
