In my opinion, Liberty must be nearly complete to be in Fine condition of F-12 or better, worn okay but LIB doesn't cut it for a F-12 grade....
I'd love to have the actual 1903-S in my collection. I have a 1903-P which is MS quality, an S would go along nicely with it. :)
Yeah, you don't "accidentally" send the wrong coin (counterfeit as well) at such a price without knowing full well you're trying to rip someone off!
Looks like we got ourselves a penny, worth..... a penny! ;)
Okay, so perhaps the seller found pics or took pics of the coin that they did not possess, created the auction, sold the coin and just used the...
Pictures would help the PCGS but what I'm concerned about is, PCGS actually references the eBay auction, which apparently is a counterfeit. That's...
Because the coin likely isn't in that grade they want to pass it off as and they want to rip people off.
The coin isn't counterfeited, the serial number used on the slab is. It's for them to take a non graded MS65 Morgan dollar and pass it off to...

Sometimes I'll swing by a carwash with quarter change makers on my way home from work, throw in a $20 to see what I get in the change made. Easy...
It's certainly getting harder nowadays. I've found a handful in my lifetime, but it's been quite awhile since the last find in loose change out in...

Did you see his other items for auction/sale? I'd say he's well uninformed, looking for suckers to buy his overpriced stuff.
Yes and let him keep on listing it and listing it without ever selling it at such an outrageous price. One day, he might realize he's asking a bit...
That thing is hideous looking. So yeah, you could guess I wouldn't buy it either.
Can't say I have, but a quick look shows their prices on some items are pretty reasonable for the most part.
