Broad struck
The dime is normal for a coin that has been exposed to the environment so it's damaged by the environment. Welcome to CT.
Nice and that's about what they should go for.
Very nice and thank you.
It's very nice and I like it a lot. I'd most certainly want it in my collection. Not sure I agree with the grade but I'm glad it's that high. I do...
At first so thought a 45 but after looking closely I'm thinking a 40. The clasp is clear and distinct but the hair curls are worn. I did not know...
Definitely a linear plating blister. Very common but yours is a good one.
Very well said!
It looks like a spender to me. A cud must touch the rim, like this coin:[ATTACH]
That's the biggest fantasy I've ever heard!
My prayers go with you and your family. Take your time, do and learn what you can but most of all, enjoy what you do.
That's one of the worse things you can do to a coin.
Environmental damage
That is nonsense. They are numerous types of breaks but a Cud is totally different and it requires a rim on a planchet.
You would think so wouldn't you? But alas they do not. It's just part of the process due to these cheap Zinc Cents.
It's that color because of environmental toning.
Nice find and welcome to CT. I don't think it's worth the $30 to havebit graded.
See @masterswimmer posy above. The photos show it all clearly.
You're welcome
Definitely MD. Look at that shelf!
