Its not pretty but it is 217 years old! Only 3,131,691 issued but how many have survived? This variety is a small date with the large fraction....

Damaged by heat, source unknown. Not a mint error.
It's not a cud as it doesn't touch the rim. However it is an interior Die break so that's neat. A keeper for sure but don't plan to get rich on it.
Like all others the PCGS list is just a guide and guides are worthless.
The coin has too much wear to tell. It could be a grease filled Die, a damaged Die or a damaged area. It's copper so it could have been scrapped...
Normally that is where the date would be but if the obverse is rotated it could be a die clash.
In tolerance so normal.
Ever seen a car tire wear? Uneven wear all the way around. Same thing.
