The property is old but not the townhouses. That type of construction tests up the ground. Find an old house and ask for permission to detect it....

We all make mistakes and at my age I tend to forget things like this very easily.
The first coin shown appears to be an incomplete planchet that affected both sides, barely. The edge photos show no signs of being tampered with...
To me I think it’s 100% original. I’m not seeing any bad signs of a cleaning.
Fairly applied grease causes that. Everything along the edge is higher.
Look at the green printing, the third printing. Especially the right serial number, it’s too far to the right. Shame that bill was folded like it was.
A there’s a little black in the date too. All normal.
