Since Ike dollars do not circulate much, it is hard for me to believe this is a worn coin. So I was wondering if this is just a weak strike....
Can a coin be considered well struck if it has clash marks? Doesn't that diminish the strike?
Is it possible that this nickel was struck on a solid planchet that the mint was using for a foreign government contract?
Is machine doubling and what I have heard referred to as ejection doubling the same thing?
My local coin dealer gave me this cent because he knows I collect error coins and he is a great dealer (Doelgers Galley of Coins in Warren, NJ)....

Did you check the thickness? It might be a tapered planchet.
I belong to the Watchung Hills Coin Club in NJ and one of our members collects silver bars. But not for the silver value for the rarity value....
