I recently filled a Whitman’s album from junk silver, even the tougher dates. I didn’t buy a single coin to the set.
Heavy enough grease on the die to cause this. This type of error is nice to find but worth very little as it’s common. Congrats on your find.
That coin has been damaged some time after it left the mint. Definitely not an error.
