dave: Looks like a clash mark, but unusual since it would not line up with the obverse. perhaps overpolishing of the die?
all post mint damage. 1) the 1944 D (?) top coin, acid job; 2) probably a hammer job. 3) rotting, possibly environmental damage. the copper...
