I think it’s a beautiful well struck coin. I’m just not seeing toning. Maybe I’m going colorblind.
At the price you paid it’s junk silver pricing as it’s been buffed or polished to give it that look. The grade is details.
Yes it’s MD bit the minting process could produce hundreds if not thousands of them before the problem is corrected.
Those look like recent scratches. I’d return that coin.
