Not at all, it’s just a worn die that gives it that appearance.
It has like .035 ounces of gold. I’ve had this since I was a youngster.

It looks normal to me. Please describe what you see and where. It’s also a copper coated zinc cent minted by a worn die.
The 9 has a die chip. It’s nice to find and have but it is also a common place for this to happen.
