There may be a date on the album. I have a few dated in the 1940’s and ‘50’s. Look on the page with no coins.

People have made it different ways but mint mark is the correct way. Spell check on my cell phone tells me do. :smuggrin:
A grinder of done sort. As in someone with too much time on their hands tried to make a genuine mint error. They failed miserably. Lol

First, dye is what you would do change the color of clothes or your hair. Die is what coins are minted with. More than one die is used I making...
It looks like damage but I’m just not that positive that it is. Be sure to set that one aside as a keeper until a later date. It’s very interesting.
