I would keep them all as is. The educational value far outweighs anything that I can think of.
It looks like a light colored bronze coin to me. Bronze is what it should be. The lightness is probably from toning.

That dark spot appears to be a stain. Cud’s must touch the rim and be raised but this does not look like it’s raised.
