I’m not seeing any mint errors, just mild damage.
Someone must have gone to the bank and gotten some ones that were sequential and spent them in the same stores you shopped in about the same time.
It’s been harshly cleaned, unfortunately, but it does look genuine.
Sorry but I have no idea. If I was going to buy a good coin I would put the money into a pre 1933 gold coin.
The items placed in soap can cause scratches on coins, even your car. There are non abrasive soaps, like Dawn, but they can still cause scratches.
It looks close but I think it’s a different ink from that of the BEP. I can’t think of anything in the process that would cause that kind of smearing.
That nickel has been damaged after it left the mint.
From your photos the mark appears to be a different color so not from the BEP.

A mistake in typing. I need a new phone but it will have to wait. Doctors are currently first. It should read the mint will produce other coins...

In the State Quarters program the mint issues started producing them with dates from 1999 to 2008. Five different designs were issued each year....
There is a hit on Lincoln’s check close to his lips and I think that hit also touched his lips.
I have a complete set of circulation issues of both the state and national park quarters in mint state condition. I included all mint marks but...
