Always buy the coin and not the holder. It could be as mentioned weak strike or even a tpg mistake.

Should be about 32.5mm per red book, but with the ring type airtites I get 32mm. At least that is what it says on JP corners website.

They won't rattle in the ring type holder. Not sure about the direct fit - simply because they are not exactly all the same size.
Photoscape software has a round crop. I have no clue about photoshop. Photoscape is freeware.
