Beliefs about "loosening" or "tightening" standards are every bit as subjective as.....coin grading by TPGSs!

Nothing about the coin suggests "fake" to me. But, it's very hard to judge surfaces and luster from photos, and I would not purchase a coin like...
I'm guessing toned in the original cardboard "tab" holder but stored under hot/humid conditions (Roanoke Island?)
Lee, that's about the prettiest Lexington I recall seeing. Most of them have a dull brown tone from residing in those little wooden boxes.

As Jason said, looks a lot like old PCI holder toning. But there are so many strange pink-violet tones that I have to call it QC.
