Been looking at my coin here and was wondering why the toning is pulled back from around Liberty's profile, inside the loops of the date, etc....

Tough one, I question the toning. But if NGC passed it, I think this series could rate a star for this kind of toning. So I vote star worthy.

Lots of variables, but many times coins valued less than $150 are not worth certifying. It's tough to recapture the grading fees on lower value...
Maybe @Insider can weigh in on that one too.
I missed the forehead earlier. I like the assigned grade.

Its a matter of taste. Dipped coins are fine as long as the luster hasn't been compromised. An expert often can't tell if a coin has been dipped...
I think it just makes it. :)
Interesting. I know little about these, I do know that those that say East India Company, like mine, are fantasy temple tokens - tourist...
