Graffiti or bad scratches on the cheek, sorry.
I gotta disagree. Maybe the history associated with the Morgan has something to do with it, but I just like them.
If I had to guess, I'd say AU58. Value, $150 - $200. JMO.
I'll go AU58
Wild guess - AU53
AT
The Zurich Half Thaler really floats my boat. My kind of coin. Many other cool ones too!
AU50
High VF, I'd say. I like Morgan's like that too.
Yes. As long as the coin is uncirculated or high AU, and the luster is intact. Now, a coin can be damaged by overdipping or repeated dippings...
Either 45 or 50, depending on the luster remaining.
Can't rule out an old light cleaning, especially on the obverse, but it looks nice to me. I'll go with VF20.
Then it's worth whatever effort and expense it takes to get it certified by NGC or PCGS. Please submit it and post the results here.
Can't judge the luster, so hard to say. But enough marks/scratches to guess AU-ish. So $20-ish a piece.
Reverse looks AT, IMHO
Guessing VF20. As stated, the obverse looks weaker than the reverse. Now to check myself....
VF25
I would sure expect to see a star. Actually though, the random untoned areas on the cheek keep the coin from being what it could be, IMO.
Easy MS66. In fact, I think I'll go with MS66+.
