Sorry Kurt, there is no sense in giving a black and white answer......both PCGS and NGC are recommended for some series. Both have their problems...

This coin is a typical 62 by today's grading standards and formerly a 58 in the wanning days of TPG......
The 1914 Phili Saint is rare in MS 63 and above and seldom encountered. I see an accurately graded coin. Leave it as it is.......NGC would grade...

These coins are definitely keepers, your grandfather was a wise man storing cents of a span of nearly 75 Years. That's a heritage to hold on....
I like it though. A good collection is build of formidable preserved coins and of minerior conditions to show the difference of the whole mint...
