Ugly dude but a most handsome coin!
A beautiful coin. http://www.thehistoryblog.com/archives/30568
An enjoyable article I thought. http://www.coinweek.com/commentary/museums-hate-ancient-coins/
Ferdinand was Habsburg and that time the coin emission was different , they used only the name of the Mint-state like K-B :Körmöczbánya, or N-B,....
K means Körmöczbánya & P is for the Mintmaster, Peter Schaider.
Everything is in my gallery too.
I had the info wrong, its 1488 and of course the actual mint name, as doug mentioned. Updated in my gallery, and the reference. Its a P, not B...
Thanks
Stunning stuff brg. Nice ladies RB!
A coin I got as a gift for my birthday. Never heard of the king, found a good read of him on Wiki. So I learned about a new king....
I saw it, was OK. Alot of B.S./inaccurate stuff but thats typical with movies done in history.
Doug has a page on to Bull coins. They're cheap but finding one with respectable centering is tough, so I have read. Both are great coins....
Interesting coin. You did well on that one!
Nice coins Chris. Ive looked at notgelds over the past few months, mainly westphalia notgeld coins.
Nice additions, Steve,Collect89, & Oki.
