That's a nice portrait. Better then Alexandrian types. [img] Otho (69 A.D.) Egypt, Alexandria Billon Tetradrachm O: ΑΥΤΟΚ ΜΑΡΚ ΟΘΩΝΟΣ ΚΑΙΣ ΣΕΒ,...
Congrats on the posts count & nice addition. I like the portrait on it.
There are many collectors that feel the same way. I know I don't care for that kind of stuff. I collect coins for history, art, and to keep my...
Cointalk shrinks it, but here it is closer & trust me, it's not fake: [IMG]
No, that copper spot is just copper discoloring from the C punch. It's silver. Inside the C you can see it's silver.
I double-checked, and your right. I found a few examples on AC search. I updated the description.
Here is something I thought I would never own, a denarius of Claudius I. I have/had several coins of his, from AE provincials, tetradrachms and so...
Love the look of it. It's amusing you get one & I got one about the same time. My first new U.S. coin in over 10 years. [img]

Picked up a seated liberty quarter recently. I have always liked this type. [img]
That's a nice one, I like it. I don't post this one much. [img] Vespasian (69 - 79 A.D.) AR Denarius O: IMP CAES VESP AVG P M COS IIII, laureate...

Nice addition. Yours has better titles while mine seems to have better silver. Mine is below. [IMG] Clodius Albinus (193 - 195 A.D.) AR...
Looks OK to me.
I have a big soft spot for U.S. Half & Large Cents. Those are all wonder looking coins. I like the Feuchtwanger Cent as well. Great stuff, Eduard.
I have one and it's nowhere near as nice as that. But I paid $45 for mine on ebay. [img] Andrea Dandolo (1342-1354 A.D.) AR Mezzanino Nuovo O: AN...
The coin looks Ok to me. I like it.
ANACS & ICG are still in business, they are just partly closed due to the virus, but they have not folded completely.
Yup, plus it's easier on the wallet for us budget collectors.
Congrats on the wins. I really like the portrait on the bronze. And don't discount that silver Caligula, it's had a tough life, but there is still...
