Toning is the formation of silver sulfide, it is strongly bound to the surface and will not spread. On the other side, verdigris WILL spread....

Looks like just a little rim ding or perhaps struck-thru, no biggie, it doesn't distract. It's a GREAT coin....especially for $28.
