After seeing Lance's coins, I would have guessed a details holder too. It just looks too flat.
It's 100% fake, I've seen this exact fake many times over.
It's a nice RPM, probably worth $2-3. The BIE die chip is considered damage by serious collectors and will actually lower the value. Also, if...
Welcome to CT! The correct term is doublED die for the future. There is no such thing as a "double die". The pictures are small but I think I...
PCGS atrributes these, just make sure it's on the submission form. The value is just approximate, I'd put it at $300. ANACS is definately the #1...
Nice, looks MS, usually under $10 in value. Like Rob said, the ones with dates are more prized.
1983 - Die det doubling, common 1972 - Definately a DDO, probably a minor one. Compare what you see to the copper coins website:...

Looks like plain, old verdigris. I can't tell what the coin is, does it contain copper?
Agree, verdigris (especially with direct contact) will spread from coin to coin. An infected coin supplies feed-stock for verdigris to form on...
Agree 100%, also, to be safe, e-z est should be diluted with distilled water at first. I like Jim's recommendation of 50% to start.
Much nicer replacement coin! Congrats on your NP!
