Hmmm - I thought my digital blue cheap scope was fine. I think this was 60x. It makes it easy to see certain things on the coins.
I bet it becomes even harder to tell on well worn coins. Are there other indicators for the various types of coins?
Nice Au coin - I think a definite AU50/55 with a very light cleaning. Really nice coin!
Really nice!!!
How come nobody mentions the shield nickels? Not even the article or site above. Those are what I like. :)
Nice coin! I agree with the grading. I see the rim dings, but to me they are not that bad. The pictures look fine to me, but I find it hard to...
Unless the 1995 proof silver eagle is a 1995W - then post some pictures of all the bust coinage and the trade dollar. Lets go - get with it - I...

Thanks speedy - but we all know I have a lot to learn about large cents - grading and attributing. As for my grades I would say VF30 for the 1848...
Sounds like you lose as many auctions as I do. :) Sometimes I just can't believe the closing price.
Not sure about this statement - but then again I am lucky to have a little extra to spend on US coinage every month. :) Now - why do I collect US...
