It looks good enough to me that I'd at least show it to an early American copper specialist, if not send it in for certification.
Oh, boy. You may have just turned this into a 25-page thread ranting about this guy making "counterfeits".
Interesting piece. Is the hammer and compass an East German symbol like the hammer and sickle are for the USSR?
Attractive, colorful Walkers are very hard to find.
I am tempted to bid. I don't have a 1907-S yet, much less an S/S. :P
It's also Albert Einstein's birthday.
I agree with @ToughCOINS 100%. I wouldn't even make an offer on that coin if someone wanted to sell it to me.
Fakes exist but aren't especially common. Mostly you need to watch out for the high dollar ones: Hawaii, Lafayette, Missouri, Grant star, Old...
Lol... smoking liberty, by any chance? :)
Looks like that was slabbed back in the days when 65 was effectively the top grade. Very nice coin. :)

Sounds like someone you wouldn't want to buy from anyway. If I'm going to make an offer, my starting point is usually no less than around 60-70%...
Whoops. :) Early halves are not my thing.
My initial feeling is that it's probably fake, just based on the weight. No amount of wear can reduce the weight of a coin by 10% without leaving...
Surprise! They're based in China. Who would have thought?
That scratch does not bother me in the least. I don't think it would get detailed just for that.
I will guess it's undergraded at 65, but I think it's every bit a 66. I don't see FS from the picture, but they could be there, too. Final...
Very nice. :) I love the type 1 Buffalo nickels because of the textured reverse, but that T2 is gorgeous, too. I don't think the dark spot near...
Good idea. I didn't even see it was off-center until I looked more closely at the pictures of the coin.
