A typo, or it's somebody that doesn't know their grading terminology :rolleyes:

Turpentine is not acetone, it contains oils which will in effect ruin the coins. The finger friction you mentioned has forever marked the coins....

I don't doubt it, but rather often the TPGs consider such coins as damaged.
Yes, it might be the pics. But when compared to this example, I'd have to think it's weakly struck. [IMG]
I'll say 63, but I wouldn't be surprised if they body bag it for damage.

The coin is very clean, but it appears to be weakly struck and struck with very worn dies. Because of this I would grade it a 64, but on a good...
Speedy, if I told you the same thing would you believe me ? For whatever it's worth, you can believe him too.
For the most part the coins are worth anywhere from 25 cents to a few dollars each.
