When I saw the dime I was thinking "design creep" as @mikediamond calls it. Also called a flared die face. I am still not sure though.
I am not sure what the name of that error, Cool find!
It is all ways good to ask questions. If you like to search rolls, Cherry Pickers Guide is a good book to buy. Strike it Rich with pocket change...
Yes, it is a far cry from an MS70, as Dave pointed out above, (lighting) I thought you were being a little hard on the Grade, My apologies, Happy...
I thought it was 22B because the cracks are much more pronounced than the pic on VAM world, I just cant see much of the die chip by the second...
The pics didn't come up on my Phone, I am pretty sure I have the vam. MS63
?
If your saying that you found them, who am I to say you didn't. Just seems like a lot of coins, wheats and silver, for one stop. Carry on Carry on.
I see that, but the dies were made to be paired together, Does anyone know if the planchet was flat or made convex to fit the Anvil Die?
Not that they were Keepers, there was one,[ATTACH] with what I think is a planchet flaw, could be a delamination, not sure.[ATTACH]
Wish I had some toners, couldn't believe it. Maybe one like this.[ATTACH] But, got more of them like this.[ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Nice, Chip. I am just not seeing it, a minor variety. Sure seems like they polished it away.
I had a bottle on my counter the other day, My cousin decided to drink it.
