The rims look incredibly square to me. The notch at 3 oclock on the reverse, is that a carbon spot or a rim ding?

It's incuse die doubling also. This type of doubling, I don't think is on the die, it is mechanical.
The 5 is incuse die doubling, not a Doubled Die, The area below the pump, I am not sure, could be a die dent or Die Deterioration.
Better patent that Idea, before some one else.
