I'd just like to say that is an amazing coin.
The design definitely looks like a reeded edge. Looking at the coin again it has contact marks in the area. Arm, breast, and flag. Probably just PMD.
I lean towards PMD but it seems to lack the moved metal. It could be a strike through.
