That is an acid restored date and would not grade at all.
It is still not a 2. If you want to ask if someone has played with the 7, that is entirely possible, but it is kind of hard to tell the...
That is a 1927. There is no way that is a 1922. It is obviously not a weak reverse because your reverse is way too well struck. It is not a...
I am not disagreeing with what you are saying, but that just does not seem to be what the TPG's are doing. Look at this;...
I am not the Indian head expert, but.... 1877- VF details corroded 1908-S 15/20 1909-S 25/30
All I can make out in the OP's coin is a die chip in the "3". I see no evidence of doubling or a repunched date.
WOW!! The only thing I see keeping that from being a 68 is the strike. That probably means that it was graded "genuine".
This may be slightly off topic, but it belongs in this thread. How refreshing it is to read well presented, logical, and supported arguments...
FWIW, as of 10:45 PM CST tonight and 9598 have at least one post.
Grade - If those wheat lines are as worn as they appear, fine. Value - Numismedia lists it for 25¢, but good luck trying to get that much for it.

I like them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The problem with that is trying to find it on PCGS. Good luck!
I said I would post the pics when it arrived. I am a little late, but here they are. It is clean and has lots of luster, but I am not too sure...
No, it is not an error in the usual sense. I believe it is called a wire rim or wire edge. PCGS says;
No, the crack would not affect the value significantly. Nice coin and a good strike for that year. It is at least XF and probably would make AU,...
I have no idea what micheldura2's problem is with your pictures. They are way larger than they need be. However, the coin is not worth much...
There is nothing wrong with your pics. It is just that trying to picture something that has to be turned to the right angle with the right light...
It looks XF or possibly AU to me, but most likely cleaned/dipped. G - VG means that the wheat lines are not complete.
Everything I see says it is die #3, but the best proof is the rotation. Is the back rotated about 15º CCW? See...
