As mountain Man said the B could have taken a hit. The die could have been partially filled with debri. The strike could have been a little weak....
Most likely one coin was struck better than the other. A weak strike will not show the same details as a strong complete strike.

There is also the factor that we aren't necessarily grading it for ourselves, we are trying to grade as the TPG would grade.
