I look back on all the slabs I cracked over the past 20 something years and understand I made a giant mistake. It was cool at the time but the...
I like the 1918 much more but I don't know much.
And that's what this hobby is all about, having fun.
After looking at the better image, I actually like the coin. Not saying it's a 67 or that I would pay that kind of price for it. I'm thinking it...
[IMG] I'm thinking the obverse looks 66 and the reverse looks 64. Great coin. This one only graded 63. [IMG] [IMG]
Yes, it's past time you did just that and there are others that need to get past what ever problems they may have with BNB as well.
I'm sorry but I just can't agree. If a que-tip is used on that coin it's going to look like junk silver. As is, it has a skin. Why mess with it....

Sorry Charmy. Sounds like you got all the bad stuff out of the way. Wish you and family a great Christmas. Open that wine chiller and feel...
Sure it's hype and it started years and years ago. It made it in the Red Book and became a really cool part of US coin history. I would love to...
68 on the mint set coins and 69 on the proofs.
I can't get past the color of the coin in those two areas. Maybe just the image but it looks wrong to me. I don't feel PCGS or NGC will grade it.
Nice coin kanga, but I'm jealous of your backyard. Can you even see the yardstick this morning?
Sorry but it's true. The US mint did not make an 1879-S. You have a copy.
I think it's a great looking coin. [IMG] [IMG]
Good question. Give them a call and ask or just buy a page of each and try it out before you decide what you like the best. I didn't take the time...
Did they make a gold version of these?
