I'll tell you what helped me the most. After many years I bought one with really nice glass. I catch things I missed in the past.
This was actualy a really nice whiz job at one time. Over the years the color changed. You can really tell where the coin was worked on the most....
Could the mint have used the same hub for making the working dies for MPL,s and BS strikes?

I first started seeing them in the late 80,s. Novelty items but really cool. Some called them coasters.
I see it as a really bad deal. It's certified as what? Silver at best.

I find it tough to get enough natural light to light the coin properly. LED is getting better all the time but I don't have much luck with it.
