I'm at 64 maybe 65. The hit on the face makes me wonder. Great looking coin. I could see it in a 66 holder without the hit.
Please don't go tripping on my opinion. I guess it's ok to state an opinion? When someone like Ken Potter calls it a true DD, I'm good with it....
Looks real to me.
Cool set.
I agree. It's not an error coin.
I might do a deal like that but only if it's an area of the hobby I know really well. If I don't know it, it's not worth the risk. I walk away...

There have been a lot of these made over the years from several types of coins. This one looks like the op coin. [IMG] I actually collect these....
Here we go again.
Yes, most do grade 69. From the images and the coin being out of the mint holder, I didn't see it doing 69.
No no no. Do both.
Sounds right Marshall. Thanks. I'm guessing on these. Please correct me if I'm wrong. S-267 [IMG] [IMG] S-270 [IMG] [IMG] S-271 [IMG] [IMG]

Never do this. It is not safe for coins. Say what you will but long term collectors know better.
I would guess someone was practicing. The color is the same as when I found it over 30 years back.
I don't think it's a proof. The rims don't look right and there is not enough detail.
