I'll guess 63.
I'll guess AU as well. It looks to have a bit of green tint in the image. PVC? Might need an acetone bath.
I don't mind saying how I came up with 66. The obverse has a few hits but only one of any size. Not enough to call it a 65. The luster is good but...
Do you have an image of the reverse?
Insults don't make your point. Please tell us why you grade this coin at 62.
I can't see this coin ever making it into an MS folder with NGC or PCGS. It looks maxed out at 58.
Great looking Texas. One of my favorite designs.
I'll never understand why they went that direction. It makes me think they have more and only gave them a few to test the waters.
From the images, I would have graded it 50 or 55. It's good to know I stand a chance of being insulted if I offer an opinion on a coin you post....

It's a well struck business strike.
1909 VDB matte proof. I'll never buy one but it would complete my set.
Is the coin in some type of slab?
I can only help a little. I have the Grant medal like this and looked at a Washington. They were fakes. The work on yours is twice the quality....
Someone playing with a punch after it left the mint.
Not a DDO.
How in he world did you come up with 62?

It's your system.
