Damage but the images are too small and are out of focus. If you click on the images they don't in large.
Thanks for the link Doug. Fun stuff.
There are folks that will argue both ways but I feel that most agree that they made both. The 56 was a pattern coin. Rick shows both in his book.
62 or 63
This was caused by grease or other junk stuck in the die. It's really common. Welcome to the forum and the fun.
I'm at 53 or 55. Nice coin.
The guy came to learn. I started about 50 years back and I'm still learning everyday. Wish you guys would play nice. The coin has a nice original...
Can't really tell much about the luster. Looks like it was cleaned long ago. Looks 63 or 64 but will probably get a details holder.
Do you have the weight?
I would weigh it. The images make it look like a fake.
I would guess that it was used for some type of jewelry at one time.
Based on what you have said, it's not silver. Welcome to the forum.
I ordered one each of the non gold coins. Each was shipped in a separate box at a different time. I have to wonder how much the mint could have...

Comms. are wild. You can play anything dated 1893 or any Comm.
Nice coin. I love the design on these.
" 64RB or 65 BN are about the same, I guess." I agree. It should have got RB but 65 is a plus. Nice coin.
I should have just called it a 67. It has the look.
Nice coin but I can't see it as well.
That's really sad. I'm sure the OP will be paid back for his actions. Life seems to do that.
