That's what I would do with them.
I thought I got a great deal back in 1993. It was only $117.
Maybe I could trade it with a blind man.:shame:
I think I would have put it in a better holder if trying to sell it. Price looks about average.
I'll break the ice on this one. It was really nice when I bought it but it's now just an ugly problem.
This is all about what you would grade the coin. I'll be posting 10 different Matte Proofs over the next week or two. They are all in early...
Can't really see anything in those images.
I probably won't crack this one. It would need to come back a 65 to be worth it.
With all the hits on the face, I'm not sure it would even go 62.

PCI was a different company with different owners back in those days. They were not all that bad and were really tough on some series. I have had...
There is a point where folks don't want the holder because it is too large. There are also those that don't wish to spent the money on some types...
The old PCI slabs were not kind to copper. I have several that turned brown. This one gets cracked. A 65 grade is possible but I'll be happy at 64BN.
I hate waiting for a coin. It seems like the most important ones are always late to arrive.
Use them for tips.
Cool. Glad you figured it out.
You might look for a gasket punch set but finding the exact size will be tough. Finding the material that is safe for coins may be tough as well.
Tim. I would guess VF or EF. The image to too far out of focus to tell much.
