The 'no S' designation refers to proof coins of that denomination. The pictured coin is a business strike, not a proof coin.
Actually, I'm very pleased that the mint struck the inaugural medal in silver and didn't opt to plate a bronze one like they did with the Westward...

Actually, that's a silver (.999) medal Chief. It's a repro of a 3" bronze mint medal....

There is a premium associated with these pieces when you buy them in the graded form but I don't believe that you will cover your costs...
