I got a plastic toy penny in a roll of BWR cents.
2 Boxes of nickels last night. First box gave me a 1926 Buf and 2nd box gave me a 44p War. 5 1939's but no "D". The hunt continues...
Question - Were they on the ends? The seeded rolls from ebay usually have them on the end.
Looks like it may have taken a hit or something.
Found a Polk S, 2006P, and 2012P last week. I should be picking up another $300-$400 tomorrow to search. Hopefully I get some more goodies.
Finished my 8 boxes of cents for the week with the following results: 61 wheats - oldest 17d 1-1972 DDO#3(my 2nd) 1-2009 DDR-060(my 1st) 1-Type...
And there we go. :)
Still a nope from me. I will let someone with more knowledge chime in though. :)
+1
Not seeing it. On the #9 the tip of the 2 is very easily discernible. Not seeing it on yours. Could be the lighting?
Ditto :)
Ok phew...I thought I was entering the twilight zone... :P
So we have 2 Simons with the same "Keep up the hunt!"? I don't know if I can wrap my mind around this :)
Looks like a squeeze job to me. Poor thing has had a rough life.
Pics?
Found this in my last box today. It's my first blank planchet. It's also copper so this thing has been circulating for some time. [IMG]
As for what it's worth, coppercoins lists it at $3 in F12. This is a much nicer coin than that but who knows as far as value. I pretty much suck...
It was pretty easy to match up since it is #10 on the top 10 list on lincolncentresource.com :)
Looks like I found another different 09 DDR this week. A year of searching and I didn't find a single one and now I've found 2 in the last couple...
Super jealous right now. I would kill for any "V" nickel whatever shape it's in. Ive searched 64 boxes so far and not a single one to be found.
