Well since I made that post I have found 2 Chaco Culture-D's :) Now I'm just missing the newest Mt. Rushmore.
I've was able to score several coins (1 troy oz worth) and a 2013 ASE for $15 a piece this weekend.
The top one's reverse has been ground/milled off. Not sure what I'm looking for on the 2nd.
I would have paid $40 provided they are in decent shape. I'd like to see pics.
Those were the proofs. I've found one in circulation. If Rick's coin is a proof it has had a REALLY rough life. lol.
Looks like his face melted off :)
He's had a short rough life.
Yes but not for bullion purposes. I just keep them in rolls sorted by decade.
Agree with a lamination error. Kind of a cool one too. I've never found one like that before.
Looks like a #2 to me and a nice one at that. Looks better than either of the two I have found. Granted they were pulled from circulation :) Congrats!
Very cool. You've given us all hope :) I've seen all kinds of stuff in bank wrapped rolls so it's not surprising that it made it in there. What...
The zinc wheat looks pretty shiny. Is it replated?
2.5 cents :P Someone ground the obverse off. If you can spend it for 5 cents you win :)
Yup - 2 in the middle seem to be the winners....
The liberty and eagle one is 1oz German silver which isn't pure 999 silver:...
It did at one point in time. I can see what look to be outlines of where they were. It is super worn.
#1 - It is an Ike dollar. #2 - The weight for a clad Ike is 22.68 grams #3 - The extra weight is probably plating.
Yup master hub doubling.
Awesome! Was it from a CWR or BWR?
The "P" looks like it came from another coin. Dunno what's under the chin.
