Both of those are clearly large date coins.
I've pulled out 5 or 6 wide rims in all my searches. They are nice enough looking coins (minus her face) but I don't think they'd ever be valuable...
Not struck through. Just damage. Also, you need to work on your camera skills ;)
Just a grease-filled die. I have several dozen cents that look just like yours.
I thought I may be having a stroke when I was reading this...
not a wide rim.
If you have a rare coin, then yeah they can sell for a...pretty penny... I would hesitate to believe you have anything that rare...yet. Lets see...
It is. About 1 cent.
I also see nothing special.
:banghead: @paddyman98 are you back from vacation yet?! :P
No. If you look at the "die adjustment" you will see that there is weakness on both sides of the coin.
Not that you can really make him any uglier....:vomit:
How long has it been since the mint did those bags though? I thought the days of finding bags like that were long gone.
Slightly MAD. Fairly common. Not worth anything beyond 1c. EDIT: Off-center would affect both sides of the coin.
That makes more sense. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how out how you would've come across it in the wild. :)
See...told you I'm not awake yet.
Wouldn't that be trippling? :P
I'm not sure on the weak strike. It doesn't have the hallmarks of a weak strike like @gronnh20 stated. That being said, it's really cool :)
Maybe I am still half awake, (I am) but I'm not seeing any doubling anyhwere, mechanical or otherwise. Where are you seeing doubling?
Where did you come across that?
Separate names with a comma.
