Could be an improper alloy mix. I see nickels with striations like that sometimes. Hard to tell when your pictures are not straight down on the coin.
The line from the top of the 2 to the bottom of it is straight though. Compare that with a small date.
I've never seen a large date 82 that even closely resembles a small date 82. The SD's are usually thinner and there is a definite curve to them...
FYI - If you have something that has no date/text on it, just pictures, it's most likely a token 99% of the time.
